Credit Card Debt Defaults On the Rise - October 25th, 2007
The number of consumers failing to make monthly credit card payments is on the rise. Moody’s Investor Services, a leading provider of independent credit ratings, announced that credit card lenders wrote off 4.58 percent of payments because they were uncollectible for the first half of 2007. This is a 30 percent increase from the first six months of 2006.
