Author Biography: Scott Sumerford
Scott has several years of experience in the financial industry working for companies such as TD Ameritrade and American Honda Finance Corporation. During his career, he has written a myriad of articles on various financial matters including bankruptcy, debt consolidation, and debt settlement.
He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington. While attending UTA, he worked as a writing center tutor and contributed to the university’s newspaper, The Shorthorn. He accredits his short story and article writing style to his time at UTA.
He was originally born in Illinois but has spent most of his life in Texas where his immediate family lives. In his leisure time, he enjoys reading, fishing, and camping. Currently, he is a member of a recreational soccer league and supports local community events. When time permits, he visits friends and family across the country.
